DAY 1 :  PARO

You will fly from your country to Paro Via DelhiIndia, Kolkata India, Bangkok Thiland, KathmanduNepal, Singapore, Only Druk Air, the national airline of Bhutan operate from above destination and you have to see the flight connectivity from your country as its operate 45 days in a week . If you get a seat on the left side of the plane and if weather permits, you may have spectacular views of the high peaks of the Himalayas including the highest Mt. Everest 29,021ft. After visa formalities at the Paro airport 7,590&39, you are met by our Bhutanese guide and transferred to your hotel in Paro to provide you some rest.
In the evening your guide will take you to a tiny Paro town for orientation with the place and people. Overnight Stay.

DAY 2 : PARO

After breakfast depart for exciting excursion trip to Tiger Nest Monastery
Your hike this morning is to site of Taktsang Monastery meaning Tiger & 39s nest, tragically wrecked in a fire of early 1998. The monastery, which has now been rebuilt, is perched some 2,000ft600m up on a sheer cliff overlooking the valley and was said to be where the legendary Indian saint, Guru Padmasambhava, flew from Tibet on the back of a tiger to defeat five demons, who were opposing the spread of Buddhism in Bhutan. The hike is about 1 & 12 hours to the teahouse, from where you may either opt to go further uphill to the monastery for about 1 hour. Lunch is served at the tea house with the majestic views of Taktsang above and the Paro valley at the bottom. The return trek to the road head is downhill and takes about a little more the time it has taken you to come up.
Arrive in Paro and visit a typical Bhutanese village home. This visit will certainly provide you an insight on living style of Bhutanese villagers. Certain cooking demonstration will be performed for you to get idea on how Bhutanese delicacies like BUTTER TEA and EMA DATSI are prepared. Overnight Stay.

DAY 3 : PARO - THIMPHU

Thimphu After breakfast at the hotel you will drive an hour to the capital city of Thimphu the only capital city in the world without traffic lights. The total population is approximately 90,000 increased drastically in recent years.
In Thimphu you will certainly visit several tourist attractions such as the Memorial Chorten, a shrine built in the memory of the late king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. Many Bhutanese people gather here to pray every day, Nunnery on the outskirts of Thimphu. You will then visit the School of Arts and Crafts or “painting school”, where Bhutanese children can follow an eightyear program in traditional arts, such as drawing, painting, woodcarving, and sculpture. This will be followed by a visit to the Heritage Museum, Changgangkha Lhakhang temple, national Library, Traditional Hospital and see how paper is made from the daphne plant with cosmos flower petals and other plants. At the end of the day, we may also pay a visit to the great Tashichho Dzong, seat of Bhutan&39s administrative and religious centre.

DAY 4 : THIMPHU

After breakfast you will get ready for, Today Sights Visit the sights that you probably have missed yesterday. If you feel ok to hike, your guide will take to north of Thimphu 25 Kms north and hike to the temple of Cheri Goemba. This hike is short but steep. This monastery is the first where the first monk system was established in Bhutan by Shabdrung N Nangyal unifier of Bhutan in beginning of 17th century. This is quite a place and location where you will feel that you are on roof of the world. Return back to hotel and relax. Overnight at Resort, Thimphu.

DAY 5 : THIMPHU - PUNAKHA

Have your breakfast at hotel then drive to Punakha Valley, an old winter capital of Bhutan, Enroute stop at Dochu LaPass, 10,000ft3,048m to view the eastern Himalayas, including Bhutan & 39s highest mountain, Gangkar Punsum, 24,770ft7,550m. The road then drops down through varied ever changing forest, finally emerging into the highly cultivated Punakha valley.
In the afternoon you will visit Punakha Dzong 1637 AD, one of the most impressive in the country situated between two mighty rivers basically known to people male and female rivers.
Time permitting visit the small town of Khuruthang in Punakha. Overnight Stay

DAY 6 : PUNAKHA

On arrival you will start with temple of fertility or Chimi Lhakhang, Chimi Lhakhang was built by lama Drukpa Kunley in 1499. He subdued the demoness of the Dochu la with his magic thunderbolt of wisdom. A wooden effigy of the Lama thunderbolt is preserved in the Lhakhang, and childless women go to the temple to receive a wang blessing from the saint.
It is a 20minute gentle walk across the rice fields from the road at Sopsokha to the temple. The trail leads across rice fields to the tiny settlement of Pana. There are very few monks at the temple, which is surrounded by a row of prayer wheels and some very beautiful slate carvings.
In the afternoon drive 45 minutes to another district on Wangduephordang, unique of its kind, small but cleanly maintained by the residents. Visit the fortress and the town. In the evening drive back to Punakha.

DAY 7 : PUNAKHA

After breakfast excursion trip to Gangtey. which takes about 3 hours to reach here. First drive south to Wangdiphodrang and make a quick stop here for pictures if you still feel like coz you have already visited yesterday. Then continue drive towards east, passing many little villages and gradually climbing up the black mountains. About ½ hr before the Pele pass, a small road diverts to Phobjikha valley. Visit Gangtey gompa monastery and in the evening you can take a walk the valley.
Visit 15th century Gangtey Goenba temple on hill top, Explore the valley and watch rare black naked cranes, the winter homes that migrate from Tibet. After the sightseeing return back to Punakha. Overnight stay.

DAY 8 : PUNAKHA - PARO

After early breakfast drive back to Paro Valley, via Wangdue, Punakha and Thimphu which takes about 3 hours. Enroute stop at Dochula cafeteria for tea and views. Continue drive to Paro, which takes another 1 hour. Your lunch may be in Thimphu or Paro.
In Paro, visit the places which you have missed earlier and your guide will advise you for options or you can visit local market. Overnight stay.

DAY 9 : PARO

After early breakfast at the hotel drive to Paro airport for your sensational takeoff and scenic Himalayan flight past Jomolhari, Bhutan second highest peak.
